Need help figuring out what to wear
Choosing your wardrobe for your portrait session can seem like a daunting task, but it doesn’t have to be! You want your portraits to reflect your personality, stand the test of time and look great with your home decor. That’s a lot of pressure! Here are some tips for choosing the perfect wardrobe:
Minimalism is key to a beautiful newborn session. I have plenty of wraps and blankets, so all you need to bring is baby! If you want to dress your baby, I suggest snug fitting body suits. Less is definitely more when it comes to baby! Parents and siblings should stick to plain neutrals. If you have items that are sentimental to you, let me know and we’ll figure out ways to incorporate them into your session.
Children’s and Family Sessions
For older children and family sessions, think layers! Layers add interest and dimension to your photographs. Also consider coordinating clothing for family members instead of perfectly matching. When we plan your session we’ll go over where you plan to display your images and the decor of your home to ensure your images fit in with your style.
